Enlightened, rational adults think the teabaggers are ignorant and backward thinking but they are actually just representatives of a different, enemy culture, the one our ideals fight against. The one America was founded to fight against. The one that dominates tyrannical fundamentalist regimes across the glob. The one that the religion of fear and hate engenders. The one we as enlightened beings need to expunge before we can move on.
And worse, in order to ensure their own places as top of a certain narrowly-defined heap, the 1% right rich anti-democracy types are exploiting those teabagger barbarians to keep us enlightened folks on the run and putting out small fires so we never get around to addressing the core of our enemy.
We need to focus on culture change to make teabagger style right wing fascist fear and hate politics intolerable to a civilized, human-centric society based on the common good, compassion, and kindness, not greed and death.
