Cthonic Plea Sans Divinity’s Grace

IMG_0126

Spectral stone, striations gradient of shadowed truth
Split flat, fashioned into stained stone majesty,
Our window into frozen hearts bequeaths us colors
Buried under unseen time, uncovered, happy accident,
In violent strikes against a stock-still earthen mound;
In artifacts lie evidence of erstwhile tragedy,
Mere proof we sang before unheard in time’s wilderness.

Dig deeper down to find me.
Pull harder now to raise me to your light.
