Too much of science ends up having been debunkery, meaning plausible explanations without merit once actual research is allowed, once actual evidence is considered, once open discourse is permitted.
Megalithic structures such as those of Ancient Egypt, with impossibly precise seams, jigsaw puzzle construction with uneven blocks to make them virtually impervious to earthquakes, and sheer size of blocks quarried at and transported from hundreds of miles away, offer endless examples of the nonsense traditional “science” tells us.
“Oh, slaves built them. No slave quarters? Oh, the public did it, one big public works project. Oh, they brought the huge stones on boats, even if we can’t find any even vaguely big enough. Didn’t have the wheel? Oh, they used sledges and slaves dragged them. No torch scorch inside the tunnels and halls? Oh, they used mirrors. No mirror? Oh, polished bronze shields then. No way to heft the stones into place? Oh, they used ramps and block-and-tackle to lift stones we can’t lift today with our heavy construction machinery. Oh, oh, oh …”
They just made up explanations and moved on, ignoring evidence that contradicted their theories, sneering at researchers who didn’t support them, and demonizing all conclusions drawn from condemned sources. They kept yelling their theories louder, which were always stated as fact until superseded by “new” fact. This happened only when a vacuum resulted as decrepit heads of department retired or croaked.
Read the book The Dinosaur Heresies by Robert Bakker to find out how waiting for the old guard to die off was the only way actual physical, physiological evidence that dinosaurs were related to birds, not reptiles, could be presented and prove persuasive. This means for decades they taught what they knew were lies and mistakes simply so a few doddering professors wouldn’t lose tenure or be cast aside as irrelevant before they died.
Politics enters into things, too. Currently a new generation of archaeologists are examining the Sphinx and finding water erosion blatantly evident on it, yet the Egyptian Antiquities gang blocks such research by refusing to let any but approved scientists near the Sphinx. This same gang of thugs has buried sites demonstrably older than First Dynasty to prevent research from toppling their claim that Ancient Egypt is the Oldest Civilization.
Abyssinia and other places would not only beg to differ but offer evidence. Gobekli Tepi in current Lebanon for example may well be the oldest site of high civilization yet found, far older than we’d thought possible, dating it to well before the last Ice Age.
No mummies were ever found in any pyramid yet the Antiquities gang insists they were tombs and keep announcing the location of new hidden chambers, which only they will investigate. Ancient Egypt is the only known civilization to have begun at its apex and gradually declined, showing no initial rudimentary phase, no slow growth toward the heights. It began at its own best and decayed slowing since then.
This strongly suggests Ancient Egypt was a transplant, a colony of some high civilization developed elsewhere. Yet to admit that puts the Egyptian Antiquities political lies to tests they cannot pass, so such observations are elided, glossed over, and sometimes denied.
It’s typical for national politics to create myths to use as rally points when seeking to unify support for a current regime. Both the Alamo in Texas and Masada in Israel are used to stir patriotism yet the stories about them are almost entirely fictional when archeologists are allowed to sift out facts from the debris of history.
Blocking scientific inquiry in order to control a political narrative is typical psychopathic rule by lying. More sophisticated fascists cherry-pick useful fact and skew things while moronic thugs simply outright lie and attack fact and science, intellectuality and academia. Education is replaced by schooling, which is indoctrination into a system’s propaganda. Keeping people barely literate and making history and science dull, uninteresting, and difficult is key to this approach. Sabotage education and you achieve a populace too stupid to stand up for its own best interests. This lets the psychopaths profiteer without consequence.
Look around.
Lysekoism under Stalin in Russia is a good example of politicized “science”, as was the racist eugenics and warped cultural searches for proof of Aryan superiority Hitler imposed on his Nazi Germany. America sees it in Zero-Sum thinking, a doctrine of inexhaustible resources, and a turning away from runaway greenhouse effect, despite being a core cause.
Venus, here we come.
Who frames terms and phrases questions controls discussion and sabotages debate. It’s that simple, once media is brought into a fascist march to power. We see science, particularly those dealing with our past, our origins, and how our civilizations grew, ruined by political squibs and anti-intellectual truisms. We see physics itself denied and ignored when it suits the latest false-flag attack of terrorism. Merely asking reasonable questions results in being swarmed by trolls who throw a dense fog of labels such as Conspiracist and Crazy and Stupid.
To be ostracized for asking rational questions is to prove fascism is at play. Questions lead to investigations, inquiries, and thought, and those can lead to answers the fascists don’t want. We’re indoctrinated — lulled, hypnotized — by movies presenting endless cartoonish feats that defy both physics and logic. Think James Bond, 007 or the endless stream of costumed superhero movies. Think, too, of any fight scene or gun play in any movie or TV melodrama. None depict reality. All they show is what’s needed to advance the narrative.
Now you know how politics works. If it happens and it’s bad for you, ignore it and move on. Attack anyone who brings it up. Condemn them as lunatics. Create doublethink terms like fake news or true facts. Twist reality so no one can figure it out. Chaos Magick at work making a glittering fog of distraction and distortion behind which the psychopaths can do what they want with impunity. Now you know how boxed you are in a false realty.
Call it a sub-reality. It’s a subset of the larger inclusive whole. Having lived outside the USA for two extended periods in my life I can attest the world looks entirely different from outside the box. Once back stateside that box lid slams down and you’re allowed to see only what their filters allow, emphasized and spun as they decide. Always ask, for everything media presents you, whether in news or entertainment, “Why do they want me to see this? Why do they want me to see it this way, from this angle?”
You won’t always know the answer but you’ll start to see the lies, such as hearing those Patriot missiles explode at the exact instant you see the flash, even though physics tells us light travels much faster than sound. There should be an appreciable lag but not if it’s sweetened. Such as recognizing faces time and again when shown children killed by this or that alleged blast from that or the other vile enemy or terrorist. Such as reporters faking daring reporting in front of green screens, then laughing about it and asking if they were convincing enough once they thought the live feed was cut.
Endless examples exist. It’s all theater, even the cities you live in. Façade and artifice, Potemkin villages, false fronts like those towns in westerns. Cowboy movies preached stoicism and ethics even as it glossed over manifest destiny, slaughter of natives, and seizure of land, often depicted as glorious battles fought and won by heroic ranchers.
Prefer to think you’re clever, classless, and free? That was Lennon, another poseur and compensator who got credit when it wasn’t always due, but do you prefer to think you’re at liberty to be an individual? That you have rights? Know your rights, as long as you’re not stupid enough to try to exercise them, as The Clash warns. If you’re not aligned with the thugs, they’ll find you and crush you, ruin your life, and destroy your family for kicks, just as a lark. Snap to, click those heels, and do as told, OR ELSE.
To those who choose to live in the OR ELSE zone, welcome to the start of a frustration that will eventually kill you. It’s worth it.
